    Purchase

    The Purchase function allows the merchant to initiate the payment for goods or services from the customer. This process involves steps to ascertain the amount, verify the payment and process the transaction.

    • In the Transaction List page, select Purchase to initiate a transaction.

    • Enter desired Purchase amount by using the key pad. To proceed, press $100.00 Ok.

    The Payment Application supports various payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, Union Pay, American Express, JCB and others.

    • PRESENT, INSERT OR SWIPE CARD to make a payment.

    The system will run and display the Account Type page.

    • Select Account Type by pressing CHEQUE, SAVINGS or CREDIT.
    • The system will charge an additional fee for certain types of cards. If the customer agrees to proceed, press $101.00 OK to proceed to the next step.

    After selecting the Account Type, the system will notify the customer to remove their card from the device.

    • The terminal will require a signature, which the merchant confirms if the signature is correct. Press YES to confirm. Otherwise, press NO.
    • When the transaction is approved, the receipt will be displayed on the screen. To print a copy of the receipt, select PRINT RECEIPT. Otherwise, press NO RECEIPT REQUIRED.
    • After completing all payment steps, the system will return to the Transaction List page.
