    Sec 20.5 Cancel Pre-Auth

    The Cancel Pre-Auth function allows merchants to cancel a pre-authorised transaction before it is finalised.


    This feature is beneficial in situations where the customer chooses to discontinue a purchase, or reverse the authorisation

    The process involves identifying the relevant pre-authorisation and subsequently
    cancelling it.

    • On the Other Pre-Auth page, select
      Cancel Pre-Auth to cancel a Pre-Auth.

    Cancel Pre-Auth

    • The next step is to locate pre-authorised transactions that have not been completed
    • Once the correct Pre-Auth transaction is identified, press Cancel Pre-Auth to proceed with the transaction.
    • When the Pre-Auth is cancelled, the receipt will be displayed on the screen. To print a copy of the receipt, select PRINT RECEIPT. Otherwise, press NO RECEIPT REQUIRED.
    • After executing all necessary steps to cancel the pre-authorisation, the system will navigate back to the Transaction List page.
