    Sec 19. Final Completion

    The Final Completion function allows merchants to finalise a pre-authorised transaction. The hold on the customer’s account will be released and the purchase amount will be withdrawn.

    This feature ensures that the business receives the correct payment for the goods or services provided.

    • On the Transaction List page, select Pre-Auth then select Final Completion to initiate a transaction.

    Final Completion

    • The next step is to locate pre-authorised transactions that have not been finalised.

    • Once the correct Pre-Auth transaction is identified, we move forward by entering the final amount.
    • Press COMPLETE PRE-AUTH to proceed with the transaction.
    • When the transaction is approved, the receipt will be displayed on the screen. To print a copy of the receipt, select PRINT RECEIPT. Otherwise, press NO RECEIPT REQUIRED
    • After completing all steps necessary to finalising the pre-authorisation, the system will return to the Transaction List page.
